Eleanor Ariadne Galifianakis is an architect focused on thoughtful residential design, including new custom homes, renovations, and additions shaped through close collaboration with clients.

Before founding Galifianakis Design, Eleanor contributed to significant custom residential work in Washington, DC, with experience spanning schematic design, design development, permit and construction documentation, interiors coordination, client communication, and construction-phase collaboration.

Much of her work since 2004 has centered on renovations and additions: helping clients in Georgetown, Logan Circle, Shepherd Park, and throughout the region expand and improve existing homes while preserving what gives them character.
